Biography

2016: 5-1 in 2016 having made 14 appearances and eight starts...Forged a 4.20 ERA in 40.2 innings pitched and striking out 29 in 2016.

2015: Did not see any action in 2015 due to injury.

2014: Went 2-1 in five starts and 11 appearances...Had 4.40 ERA with 28 strikeouts in 30.2 innings of work...Struck out a season-high eight batters across six innings at Upper Iowa on April 2.

2013: Made one start in 11 appearances...Ended 1-0 with a 2.55 ERA and team-best .103 opponent batting average, while striking out 21 in 17.2 innings of work...Earned NSIC Pitcher of the Week honors on May 6 after earning his first career win in his first career start by striking out four and allowing one hit, one walk and no runs over six innings in a 9-0 win over Concordia-St. Paul.

Selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 19th round (572nd overall) in the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft.

2012:  Redshirted.

High School:  Two-year letterwinner for Centennial High School Cougars...Senior year finished with a 5-2 record with a 1.97 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 39 innings pitched and two complete games...Named all-conference...Two-year letterwinner in basketball.

Personal:  Born on July 10, 1992...Son of Greg and Pamela Matheson...Hobbies include fishing, disc golfing and basketball...Proposed major is undecided.
