Biography

2021: Earned D2CCA Third Team All-America honors...Struck out 105 (13th in NCAA) of the 268 batters he faced to own the nation's 10th-best rating in strikeouts per nine innings (13.83) and 21st-best for walks per nine innings (1.19)...Pitched MSU's second-most innings (68.1) in his final season...1.98 earned run average ranked second on MSU pitching staff (16th in NCAA), an 11.67 strikeout-to-walk ratio (sixth in NCAA),, .196 opponent batting average and .85 WHIP (10th in NCAA)...Named to the NCBWA All-Central Region First Team and All-NSIC First Team in 2021. 

2020: Made three starts on the hill with an 0-1 record and a 3.38 ERA, a team high 24 strikeouts and six walks in 18.2 innings of work.

2019: Garnered 2019 All-NSIC First Team honors...Named NSIC Player of the Week on March 4th...Appeared in nine games (five starts)... Compiled a 6-1 record, 1.94 ERA, 56 strikeouts, 8 walks, 11 runs and an opponent batting average of .189 in 46.1 innings pitched.

2018: Garnered an 8.38 ERA in 9 2/3 innings pitched with 11 strikeouts, three walks, 12 hits allowed and a .324 batting average against in five appearances (two starts).

2017: Made four appearances, including two starts...Garnered a 1-0 record with one shutout...Tossed 15 innings with 17 strikeouts, a 0.60 ERA, a .115 batting average against and a 0.53 WHIP...Received medical redshirt year.

2016: 2-2 in 2016, making five starts in eight appearances...Recorded career-high eight strikeouts in career-high seven-inning shutout performance at Concordia-St. Paul 4/23/16 in first-career win...Ranked second on team with 2.97 ERA.

2015: Redshirted.

High School: A three time letterman at Osseo (Minn.) High...Pitched to a 3-2 record with a save as a senior...Tossed just over 35 innings with a 1.58 ERA including 49 strikeouts and an opponent batting average of 0.172.
