High School:  Three-year letterwinner...Three-time all-conference...First team all-state selection senior year...While playing short stop and pitcher helped Kee Hawks (Lansing, Iowa) advance to state finals senior year hitting .440 wih 66 hits, four home runs, 55 RBI, 14 doubles and six triples and finishing 14-2 with a 1.72 ERA and 132 strikeouts in 93 and 2/3 innings pitched on the mound...All-conference basketball senior year as well...Member of National Honor Society.

Personal:  Born on November 25, 1992...Son of Pat and Janet Heiderscheit...Father played professional baseball in the Montreal Expos organization...Proposed accounting major.
