Biography

2011: Named team captain for 2011 season. 

2010: NSIC All-Academic Team… Named to Rawlings/ABCA Central Region Gold Glove First Team… Hit .435 in MSU’s five NCAA Division II Central Region tournament games with eight runs batted in, six runs scored, five doubles and a triple, was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.  Also pitched the Central Region Championship game where he went seveing innings, while giving up three runs off of four hits, he walked four and sat down five batters on strikes…Played and started in all 60 games for the season…First on team in triples (6), second in RBI (53) and third in runs scored (54)… Hit .343 and recorded a .992 fielding percentage…  stole 14 bases (14-17).   

2009: All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference First Team...Led Mavericks in home runs (10), was second in RBIs (43) and third in walks (31)...Established MSU record for consecutive hits when he had 11 hits in a row (eight singles, two doubles and a home run in 11 at bats) in three games at Northern State March 20-21....Fourth on team in batting average (.351) and hits (61)...Started all 53 games he appeared in and was third on the team in runs scored (42) and tied for second in doubles (11)...31 walks ranked third on the team...Started one game on the mound, allowing four earned runs on nine hits in five innings with two strikeouts and a walk.  

2008: Led the Mavericks in batting average (.343), RBI (27), slugging percentage (.526)...finished second on the team in OBP (.422) doubles (8), triples (4), walks (21)...finished third on the team in runs scored (30), home runs (3), hits (47)... Named All-NCC Honorable Mention.   

High School: Hit .417 and went 2-0 as a pitcher for Eden Prairie in earning Honorable Mention All-Conference honors as a junior in 2006...Hit .430 and was 8-1 with 55 strikeouts as American Legion team captured 2006 state championship...Hit .395 and with 4-1 record in 2005 as American Legion team captured state title.
