Biography

2022: Made 11 appearances and six starts during the 2022 campaign...Carried a 3.40 ERA with a .248 opponent batting average and struck out 48 opposing hitters while issuing only 11 walks...Pitched 53 total innings en route to a 2-2 win-loss mark...Named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2021: D2CCA All-American Third Team...2021 NSIC Pitcher of the Year...Owned a 10-0 record with a 2.22 earned run average in 11 starts... 15.40 strikeout-to-walk ratio ranked second in NCAA DII...Struck out 77 batters and issued five walks to ride the nation's best walks per nine innings rating (0.65)...Honorable mention for NCBWA All-American while being named to the 2021 NCBWA All-Central Region First Team and All-NSIC First Team...NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2020: Appeared in three games (two starts) on the hill with a 1-1 record and a 4.02 ERA, 20 strikeouts and three walks in 15.2 innings of work.

2019: Made 12 appearances (five starts) as a freshman, compiling a 4.11 ERA, 28 strikeouts, five walks and one save.

THE DENK FILE: Compiled an 8-0 record with two saves between his high school (Lakeville North) and summer seasons as a junior. During his junior year of high school, recorded a 2.78 ERA with 25 strikeouts and five walks over 22 innings pitched.
