Adam Christ

Adam Christ was named Minnesota State’s assistant baseball coach in the summer of 2008.

Christ, a native of Waseca, Minn., spent three years with the Ripken Academy in Aberdeen, Maryland, prior to joining the Mavericks.  As a member of the Ripken staff he worked his way up from a position of program coordinator to Director of Baseball Operations to his most-recent role as General Manager.  

A graduate assistant coach with the Minnesota State baseball program for two years (he earned his master’s degree from Minnesota State in 2008) Christ graduated in 2003 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  A middle infielder with the Panthers, Christ earned All-Horizon League honors and played on a conference championship team in 2002.
 
Christ also spent a season with the baseball program at Iowa State (2000-01) where he was the starting shortstop and earned a scholar-athlete award with the Cyclones.  He also logged two years at Des Moines Area Community College (1998-99 and 1999-2000) where he was a two-time all-conference selection.
 
Christ resides in Mankato along with his wife Amanda and daughter Coryn.
