Biography

2022:  Appeared in 11 games during 2022 season for the Mavericks...Batted .250 with a pair of hits, including a double, in eight at bats...Named to NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2021:  Made seven appearances for the Mavericks in 2021.

2020: Did not see any action.

THE SCHUMACHER FILE: Graduated in 2019 from Kimberly High School in Wisconsin where he played four seasons of catcher for the Kimberly Papermakers...Backstopped his high school team to an 88-22 overall record and a 58-14 mark in the Fox Valley Association...In all but one of his four seasons, the Papermakers came out on top of the conference...In 2017, Kimberly captured Division I Wisconsin State Baseball Championship...In 2018 and 2019, he was named to the Wisconsin Academic All-State Team...As a senior in 2019, he hit .371 in 27 games with 41 RBI, 36 hits and four home runs...He was named All-Conference and All-District...He is the son of Eric and Lori Schumacher and has one sister, Brooke...Was born Aug. 21, 2000, in Appleton, Wis.
