2024: NSIC All-Academic Team... Played in 34 games, including 21 starts for the Mavericks... Hit .265, including 18 hits, five doubles and three home runs... Recorded 16 RBI and walked 27 times... One multi-hit game vs. Minnesota Duluth.

2023: Appeared in 18 games with 13 starts for the Mavericks... In 48 at bats, hit .313 with 15 hits, two doubles, one home run and six RBI... Walked 13 times.

THE WEED FILE: From Farmington, Minn., Weed played for the UIC Flames before coming to the Mavericks. He appeared in 27 games while making 20 starts. Also had 10 runs and nine RBI in the 2022 season with the Flames. Season-high of three runs scored vs. Purdue.
