Individual tickets for the PigSkin BBQ are $25.  You can purchase a VIP package, which includes two tickets and VIP parking in Lot 7, smoker meat from the smoker competition and two beverage tickets  for $100.  To purchase your ticket, please click the button below.   Meats being cooked include:  Ribs, Pulled Pork and Chicken.

Contest Rules

**Please arrive at Blakeslee Stadium NO EARLIER THAN 7 a.m. on Saturday 4/13/2024**

1. REFUND OF ENTRY FEES – There will be no refund of entry fees unless approved by the organizing committee. 
2. EQUIPMENT – Each Griller will supply all of the equipment necessary for the preparation and cooking of their entry including a cooker. All smokers can be used i.e. Wood, Charcoal, Pellet and Electric are acceptable. The health and safety of contestants and event goers should be a primary consideration when selecting appropriate cooking fuels. 
3. POWER - Power will be somewhat limited. Be sure to bring extension cords or a generator if you require power.
4. CLEANLINESS AND SANITATION – All Grillers are expected to maintain their cook sites in an orderly and clean manner and to use good sanitary practices during the preparation, cooking and judging process. The use of sanitary gloves is required at all times while handling food. Failure to use sanitary gloves may result in disqualification. Grillers are responsible for cleanup of their site once the competition has ended. All food safety rules and regulations must be adhered to at all times. 
5. MEAT CATEGORIES – The following categories are included in the competition and will be provided: Pork Ribs and Chicken 
6. JUDGING – Entries will be submitted in the containers supplied by event organizer at check-in by the Griller. You may use garnish in the turn in box. As this is an amateur event, any garnish is acceptable i.e. parsley, green lettuce, spinach and if you must, kale are all acceptable.
7. SCORING – Scoring will be based on KCBS rules. Taste, Tenderness and Appearance
8. TURN-IN TIMES – Turn in times are as follows: Chicken 2 p.m. Ribs 2:30 p.m.

• Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each category.
