In addition to a 2012 NSIC regular season title, the 2012 NSIC tournament title, and the 2012 NCAA Division II Central Region tournament championship, Minnesota State claimed a a third-place finish at the NCAA DII Championship tournament.
Along the way MSU established a school record for wins and games played in 2012 with a final mark of 51-12.
As a program Minnesota State has made six appearances in the NCAA DII College World Series.
