Missouri Southern State: A guard out of Joplin, Mo., Brown joins Minnesota State after playing two seasons with Missouri Southern State...During his sophomore season, Brown made 29 starts for MSSU as he averaged 14.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 48.1% from the field and 84.4% from the free throw line...Brown passed the 20-point plateau five times during his sophomore season, including a 29-point showing against Central Missouri and a 27-point performance against St. Cloud State...Brown would go on to receive All-MIAA Third Team honors.

High School: Was a four-year starter and a four-time all-conference honoree at Joplin High School...Garnered All-State honors during his senior season...Averaged 23.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game as a senior.
