2016-17 (Senior):One of five Mavericks to play in all 31 games…Made one start…Averaged 4.0 points and 1.8 rebounds a game…Shot 45.3% from the field, including a 42.0% showing from behind the arc…Tallied a season-high 12 points against Upper Iowa as he connected on 5-of-8 shots from the field.

Missouri Western State: A guard from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Sampson played in 30 games for the Missouri Western State Griffons, including 25 starts, where he averaged 11.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game...Sampson reached double-digits in the scoring column in 17 games last season, including five instances when he scored 20 points or more...He also finished the season shooting 86% from the free throw line, which including a 10-for-10 showing against Northeastern State.

Des Moines Area CC: Prior to joining Missouri Western State, Sampson played at Des Moines Area Community College for two seasons...As a sophomore, Sampson started in all 33 games as he averaged 10.5 points per game...He also led DMACC with 81 three pointers as he received All-Region Second Team honors.

High School: Received all-conference and all-metro accolades at Xavier High School...Also received All-State honors as a member of the football team.
