Biography

2015: Played in 11 games, including six starts during the 2015 season…Earned All-NSIC First Team honors…Defended five passes and recorded one interception…Finished the season with 24 tackles, including 17 solo tackles…Tallied a season-high five tackles in back-to-back games against Winona State and Southwest Minnesota State.

2014: Saw no action in 2014 season...

2013: Appeared in eight games for MSU…Tallied 14 tackles, including 10 unassisted tackles…Notched 0.5 sacks for a loss of six yards…Intercepted one pass against Sioux Falls and returned it eight yards…Brocke up two passes as well.

2012: Played in 11 games this season and has three tackles, one of which was for a loss.

Pre-MSU:  Attended Fort Scott Community College but did not play football.

High School:  Was a stand out athlete at Johnson High School...Helped the Govenors to a 7-4 record as senior...Started as a sophomore, junior and senior.

Personal: Born Oct. 24, 1992...Son of Jamal Hickman and Wendy Gillespie...Undecided on a major.
