2013: Redshirted initial season at Iowa State.

Iowa Western: Helped team go undefeated and win the national title with a perfect 12-0 mark during the 2012 season…Was second on the team in tackles (72) and had 34 solo stops as a sophomore…Had 6.5 tackles for loss and returned an interception 92 yards for a touchdown…Was a reserve as a freshman, tallying 23 tackles as the team went 9-2…Was a member of the IWCC wrestling team.

High School: Two-year letterwinner…Named first-team all-state by the Des Moines Register and first-team all-CIML as a senior…Led team to the state semifinals…Recorded 121 tackles as a senior, the second-best season total in school history…Rushed for 678 yards and nine touchdowns…Was a four-year letterwinner in wrestling, qualifying for state as a junior and senior…Coached in high school by Jerry Pezzetti.
