High School: Was a three-year starter and letterwinner at Edgar...Helped the Wildcats to a pair of 14-0 records as a junior and senior, including 8-0 marks in the Marawood Conference...Won a pair of Wisconsin Division 6 State championships....Won the Tim Kramrie Award for being the defensive lineman of the year...As a senior he recorded 71 tackles, 35 of which were solo to go with nine sacks and 17 tackles for a loss...Also forced three fumbles...As a junior he recorded 112 tackles, 68 of which were solo...Was named First-Team All Marawood Conference and first-team all-state as both a junior and senior...During his final two seasons at Edgar helped the defense to 18 shutouts.
