Biography

2013: Had a team-high 20 appearances while also leading the squad with 11 saves in 11 chances...Recorded a 7-0 record, while posting a 1.38 ERA and .181 opponent batting average...Also struck out 17 in 26.0 innings pitched, while finishing 12th in the nation in saves...Named Daktronics Second Team All-Region...Registered back-to-back saves on May 10 & 11 against Bemidji State to secure the NSIC Tournament Championship...Also picked up saves on May 27 against Franklin Pierce and May 30 against St. Edward's at the NCAA DII Baseball Championship.

2012: Recorded 2-1 record with 3.00 earned run average in tean appearances...Had three saves and struck out ten batters in 15 innings of work...Earned win over Colorado Mesa in NCAA Central Region Tournament (0.2 IP, 0 ER)... Picked up win over Chico State at NCAA Division II Championship Tournament (2 IP, 0 ER, 1 H, 2 Ks).

2011:  Made a team-high 20 appearances on the mound...Pitched 25 and 2/3 innings, with a 2.45 ERA, went 3-2 on the season, had 17 strikeouts and a team-best nine saves on the year...Named to 2011 NSIC All-Conference First-Team, 2011 Daktronics Central All-Region Second Team, 2011 Rawlings/ABCA Central All-Region Second Team and 2011 NCBWA All-Region Second Team.

2010: Made 17 relief appearances (2-0)… Posted a 4.05 ERA in 26.2 innings pitched… Recorded 19 strikeouts.

2009: Redshirted.   

High School: Named all-conference three years in a row...Also all-state his senior year...Hit .355 with 20 steals…2.00 ERA with 42 strikeouts and a record of 4-1 during senior campaign...Lions All-Star participant and Team Minnesota participant...Also two-year letter winner in basketball and three-year letter winner in football.
