MANKATO, Minn. - The Minnesota State Women's Soccer Team has been ranked eighth in this week's USC women's soccer poll. 

The Mavericks dropped to No. 8 after being ranked No. 5 in the last two weeks. This past weekend, the Mavericks went 1-0-1 against two NSIC opponents. On Friday MSU took down Jamestown 2-0 and on Sunday their match against Northern State ended in a 0-0 draw. The Mavericks remain unbeaten at 6-0-1 and have not given up a goal since the first match of the season. 

The Mavericks return to The Pitch this weekend, starting with a match against Sioux Falls on Friday at 3:00 p.m., and wrapping up with a match on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. against Southwest Minnesota State.
