MANKATO, Minn. - The Minnesota State women's soccer team remains at No. 5 in this weeks United Soccer Coaches (USC) Division II National Poll. 

The Mavericks won both their matches this past weekend as they opened NSIC play. On Friday, the Mavericks beat Minot State 1-0, and on Sunday they capped off the weekend with a 3-0 win over UMary. The Mavericks are 5-0 to start the season and have allowed just one goal thus far. 

Minnesota State is back in action this weekend on the road starting with a match on Friday against Jamestown at 3:00 p.m., and closing with a Sunday match against Northern State at 1:00 p.m.
