BURNSVILLE, Minn. - Minnesota State junior Meghan Przybilla earned NSIC Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts last Friday against Central Oklahoma.
Przybilla was the difference maker for the Mavericks in their 2-1 win over the Bronchos. In the 70th minute of a tie game, Przybilla put one in the back of the net to give the Mavericks the lead. Her goal ended up being the game-winning goal as Minnesota State held on to a one-goal lead to kick off their season 1-0.
Friday's match was Przybilla's first game as a member of the Mavericks; she played 38 minutes and tallied the deciding goal on her lone shot.
Przybilla and the Mavericks are at home this weekend for a pair of matches as they face Central Missouri on Friday at 4:00 p.m. and Grand Valley State on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
