Sixteen Home Games Highlight 2026-27 Schedule

MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's hockey team has announced its 2026-27 schedule, featuring 16 home games.

Minnesota State opens with a nonconference home series against RPI (Sept. 25-26) before entertaining St. Cloud State (Oct. 2-3) to start WCHA play.

After an off weekend, Minnesota State travels to Wisconsin (Oct. 16-17) before traveling to Boston to participate in the Ice Breaker against Robert Morris (Oct. 23) and either Boston University or Yale (Oct. 24).  MSU's swing out east concludes on Monday, Oct. 26 with a nonconference game against Boston College.

Minnesota State and St. Thomas play a home and home series Oct. 30 (at St. Thomas) and 31 (vs. St. Thomas) before the International Break takes place on Nov. 6-7.

The Mavericks then travel to Bemidji State (Nov. 13-14) before hosting Minnesota Duluth (Nov. 20-21).  After a weekend off for the Thanksgiving holiday, Minnesota State travels to Ohio State (Dec. 4-5) before a home-and-home series with Minnesota (Dec. 11-12). 

Following the holiday break, Minnesota State travels to Lindenwood (Jan. 2-3) to conclude the nonconference portion of its schedule before traveling to St. Cloud State (Jan. 8-9).  The Mavericks then host Wisconsin (Jan. 15-16) before traveling to Minnesota Duluth (Jan. 22-23).  January concludes with home series against Ohio State (Jan. 29-30).

A pair of home-and-home series against St. Thomas (Feb. 5-6) and Minnesota (Feb. 12-13) opens the month of February before the regular season concludes with a home series with Bemidji State (Feb. 19-20).

The WCHA quarterfinals are set for Feb. 26-28 with the Final Face-off scheduled for March 4-6.  The NCAA tournament opens March 11.

Minnesota State won a school record 17 games last year, finishing 17-19-2 and advancing to the Final Face-off for just the second time in program history.
