CLEVELAND --- Minnesota State sits in sixth place in the latest edition of the Learfield Director's Cup standings.
MSU has tallied 448.75 points this season, including 273.75 points during the winter season. Grand Valley State sits atop the standings with 790.50 points. The Mavericks are the highest-ranked NSIC school in the rankings, with St. Cloud State following in 24th place with 302.50 points.
During the winter season, the Mavericks recorded 273.75 points. Women's track and field garnered 75 points with its fifth place finish at the NCAA Championships, while the men's track and field team earned 72.75 points for its sixth place finish. The wrestling team gained 56 points with its 18th place finish at the NCAA Championships, while the swimming and diving team claimed 45 points with its 29th place finish. The women's basketball team received 25 points for finishing 33rd in the NCAA Tournament as well.
The final edition of the Learfield Director's Cup Standings will be released on June 9.
