MANKATO, Minn. - Minnesota State men's and women's student-athletes posted an impressive 3.36 grade point average in the fall semester 2025, the sixth-highest term average in school history.
Fall semester's success continues a streak for the Mavericks, which have seen nine of the top-10 single-semester marks over the past 10 terms:

The men's combined GPA of 3.33 is the third-highest mark in school history. This also extends the men's streak to 19 straight semesters with at least a 3.00 combined GPA, and nine straight terms with at least a 3.20 GPA.
On the women's side, the combined 3.55 GPA is also the third-highest mark in department history. It was also the 33
rd consecutive semester where the women posted a combined GPA of at least 3.30, and the 12
th straight term with a combined GPA of at least 3.40. All of the Maverick women's teams have now earned at least a 3.00 GPA for the 21
st time in the last 22 semesters.
Two programs set program records for the highest GPA. Women's hockey's 3.82 topped their previous mark of 3.79 from Spring, and men's cross country's 3.64 bested its 3.62 mark in Fall 2023. Three other programs had their respective second-highest GPA in program history: men's basketball (3.44), softball (3.67), and women's volleyball (3.79).
Two-hundred and twenty-five student-athletes achieved Dean's List honors this semester, and 109 earned perfect 4.0's this term.
