"Bemidji challenged us in singles, but I'm glad we were able to lock in and secure five out of the six matches," head coach
Drew Hawthorne said. "I'm very proud of
McKenna DeMarce for her comeback at #2 singles. She stepped up her game in the second set which really threw her opponent off. She took the tiebreaker forcefully."
Doubles Matches
"I was happy with our intensity at #1 doubles today," Hawthorne said. "We did a better job taking control of the match early and playing aggressively than we did yesterday. Another job well done by #2 doubles today too. They've had a great streak of doubles play the last several matches."
Minnesota State returns to action on April 10 as it travels to Sioux Falls, S.D. to take on Augustana. First serve is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at Great LIFE Sioux Falls.
