SIOUX FALLS, S.D. --- The Minnesota State women's tennis team suffered its first NSIC loss of the season Friday as the Mavericks fell to #19 Augustana 7-0.
With the loss, MSU drops to 8-3 on the season, including a 7-1 NSIC record. With the win, AU improves to 17-2, including a 9-0 conference record.
"It was a tough match for us today," head coach
Drew Hawthorne said. "Despite the loss, we had some good things come out today. What matters now is that we reset in preparation for our match against Sioux Falls tomorrow. Today's competition only helps us get tougher for tomorrow's important match."
