"Today was a great day for our team as a whole," said head coach
Drew Hawthorne. "Jamestown is a solid team with a lot of talent. We played tough, smart and disciplined across the board to win. Amanda was down a set and 3-0 in the second and came back. She did a terrific job of resetting. A major victory for us this weekend was Alma and Lucie in doubles. They've done a remarkable job making changes recently and their hard work is paying off."
Â
The Mavericks (6-2, 5-0 NSIC) have five regular season matches left on the calendar. Up next is St. Cloud State on Saturday, March 28 at Noon CT in Rogers, Minn.
