Lauvstad High Point Scorer at NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships

NEW ORLEANS – High Point Scorers of the Meet from the 2026 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships were announced on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

This award honors those athletes who compiled the most team points for their respective teams in Virginia Beach, Virginia. William Opare of Angelo State earned honors on the men's side, while Miranda Lauvstad of Minnesota State and Ava O'Connor of Adams State shared honors for the women. Lauvstad and O'Connor both scored 18 points in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The former won the long jump and finished second in the pentathlon, while the latter won the mile and finished runner-up in the 3000 meters.

Additionally, All-America honors for the 2026 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field season were announced on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Thirteen MSU men's track and field athletes earned All-America status and nine MSU women took in All-America honors in 11 events.
