Jack Kendall posted the top individual mark for the Mavericks, with a 68
th place finish in 26:02.2 at the 8K course, hosted by Wisconsin-Parkside. Also scoring for the Mavericks was 95

Jacob Bennett (26:35.9).
Colorado School of Mines led the field with a score of 52, followed by Adams State (59), Lee (91), Saginaw Valley (162) and UC-Colorado Springs (181). Ahmed Ibrahim (Sr., Alabama Huntsville) turned in the top individual time of 24:10.1 (4:51.7 average mile).
"The guys competed well against some nationally ranked teams," said head coach
Ben Held. "We moved throughout the race to finish in line with our expectations after competing hard last week and having a tough week of training. We are looking forward to a good training block leading up to championship season."
The Mavericks compete next at the Holiday Inn Express Classic in Sioux Center, Iowa at Dordt University Prairie in a 8K meet on Saturday, October 11. It will serve as the final tune-up for the NSIC Cross Country Championships on Oct. 24.
