MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State men's and women's hockey announced it will host several events that are open to the public in the coming days. The events include men's and women's team scrimmages on Thursday, Sept. 18, and Thursday Sept. 25, as well as Puck Drop in the City Center, presented by Snell Motors on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
 
Details for the events are listed below. MSU women's hockey begins the regular season at RPI Sept. 19-20. Men's hockey starts its regular season campaign Oct. 10-11 at Omaha.
 
Men's Hockey Team Scrimmage – Thursday, Sept 18 (The Pond on Madison)
Game 1 – 6:00 p.m.
Game 2 – 7:00 p.m.
