INDIANAPOLIS --- Former Minnesota State lineman
Marshall Foerner has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts.
An offensive lineman from Plano, Ill., Foerner played in 46 of Minnesota State's 51 games during the last four seasons, including 42 starts. He was named to the All-NSIC First Team three times and as a junior he was named to the D2CCA All-Super Region Four Second Team.
As a senior, Foerner was named to the CSC Academic All-American Frist Team, along with the Don Hansen All-American Second Team and the AFCA All-American Second Team.
Foerner is the first Maverick to sign as an undrafted free agent with an NFL team since 2024 when Trey Vaval signed with the Atlanta Falcons.
Minnesota State finished its 2024 season with an 11-4 record as the Mavericks advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament.
