QUINCY, Ill. – Minnesota State tennis blanked Quincy University 7-0 Tuesday at Resevoir Park. The Mavericks (5-1) took two of three doubles matches, then recorded convincing wins at the bottom half of the singles lineup to prevail.

"I was really proud of how well we played today," said head coach
Matt Hokanson. "Quincy has a solid program and for us to show up and sweep a good team 7-0 was so awesome to see. It was the perfect way to end our spring break trip."

The Mavericks picked up a 5-2 win over Division I Eastern Illinois on Sunday. The team is in St. Cloud on Saturday, March 22 to take on Minnesota Duluth in a return to NSIC competition.
