MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State women's hockey (11-19-2, 5-19-2 WCHA) wraps up its regular season with a home-and-home series against St. Thomas (9-21-2, 6-19-1 WCHA). On Friday, the Mavericks will host the Tommies at Mayo Clinic HSEC at 6:02 p.m., before traveling to St. Thomas Ice Arena for Saturday's matchup at 4:02 p.m.
Minnesota State currently sits sixth in the WCHA standings and would face the University of Minnesota in the WCHA Quarterfinals.
Graduate forward
Jamie Nelson leads the Mavericks' offense with six goals and 19 assists (16
th in WCHA), totaling 25 points (21
st in WCHA).
Goaltender
Hailey Hansen has posted an .897 save percentage and a 3.02 goals-against average this season. With 21 games played, Hansen has a pair of shutouts with 523 total saves (fifth in WCHA).
Defender
Jenessa Gazdik leads the team and ranks fifth in the conference with 54 blocked shots.

The Mavericks traveled to Minnesota Duluth last weekend, suffering an 8-2 loss on Friday.

 Last weekend, the Tommies hosted Bemidji State, falling 5-0 on Friday before bouncing back with a 4-3 victory on Saturday.
Offensively, St. Thomas is led by Madison Brown, who has recorded 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points this season. In net, Dani Strom has registered a 3.75 goals-against average and a .891 save percentage.
