BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- A total of 12 Minnesota State football players have earned All-NSIC honors for their effort this season.
Freshman
Jefferson Mobry was named the NSIC Defensive Newcomer of the Year. Mobry is now the fifth Maverick to earn the honor joining Bryan Schmid (2008), Junior Aumaae (2009), Jack Leuis (2019) and
Khai West (2023).
In total, eight Mavericks earned All-NSIC First Team accolades. Sophomore

Maximus Sims and senior
TreShawn Watson were named All-NSIC First Team Offense, while Mobry, senior
Marcus Hansen and senior
Jamal Spiyee were named All-NSIC First Team Defense. Sophomore
Connor Fournier earned All-NSIC First Team Special Teams honors also.

Keats Dyslin, senior
Grant Guyett and sophomore
Mitchell Thompson garnered All-NSIC Second Team Offense honors, while junior
Jason Dandridge claimed All-NSIC Second Team Defense accolades.
Minnesota State continues its season in the first round of the NCAA Tournament this Saturday as it travels to Findlay. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. (CST) at Donnell Stadium.
