MANKATO, Minn. — The Minnesota State Department of Athletics has announced that admission will be free for the Mavericks' (3-0, 0-0 NSIC) home opener against UW-Eau Claire (1-1, 0-0 WIAC) on Friday, Nov. 14, inside the Taylor Center.
The matchup marks Minnesota State's first regular-season home contest of the 2025–26 campaign, with tip-off set for 6 p.m. The Mavericks will look to continue their early-season momentum in front of their home crowd.
MSU opened the year at the D2CCA Tip-Off Classic, where the team posted a perfect 3-0 record against programs that all qualified for the 2024–25 NCAA Tournament. The Mavericks averaged 107 points per game throughout the weekend while delivering strong performances on both ends of the floor.
