Box Score MANKATO, Minn. – Sophomore
Ayla Puppe scored twice to help Minnesota State women's hockey defeat Lindenwood 4-0 Friday at Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in non-conference play.
Zoe Lopez added one goal and one assist and
Bella Shipley also lit the lamp for the Mavericks.

Minnesota State (3-0-0) hosts Lindenwood (0-5-0) again on Saturday at 3:02 p.m.

Lauren Zawoyski sprung Puppe for a breakaway at 13:26 of the opening period. Then Puppe made it 2-0 with a high short-angle shot.
Lilie Ramirez and
Kendall Hassler assisted.

Taylor Otremba added insurance 54 seconds into the second period and
Zoe Lopez added her third tally in as many games near the mid-point of the third. Zawoyski added her second assist of the game.

Both teams went scoreless on the power play. The Mavericks had five opportunities while the Lions had three.
Hailey Hansen stopped 17 shots for her sixth career shutout. MSU posted 45 shots on goal, including seven from
Lauren Goldsworthy.
Kianna Roeske finished with six.
