LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Minnesota State volleyball team holds the No. 24 spot in this week's AVCA Top-25 Poll, slipping one position from the previous ranking.

This past week, the Mavericks completed a season sweep of Jamestown before falling to No. 11 St. Cloud State in three sets and No. 22 Northern State in four sets at the Taylor Center.

Minnesota State is one of seven NSIC programs featured in the national rankings. Wayne State leads the way at No. 6, followed by Concordia-St. Paul at No. 9, St. Cloud State at No. 11, and Southwest Minnesota State at No. 18. Minnesota Duluth checks in at No. 21, Northern State holds the No. 22 spot, and the Mavericks complete the conference representation at No. 24.

MSU returns to action on Friday, Oct. 31, as the squad travels to Minot, N.D., to take on Minot State. The first serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be streamed live on the NSIC Network.
