MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State's
Hailey Hansen has been recognized as the WCHA Goaltender of the Month following her standout performances against RPI on Sept. 19-20.
A native of Blaine, Minn., Hansen backstopped the Mavericks to back-to-back wins over the Engineers, posting a pair of strong outings in net. She turned aside 48 of 51 shots faced across the two games, finishing the series with a .941 save percentage and a 1.50 goals-against average.
In Friday's 3-0 shutout, Hansen recorded 30 saves to earn her first clean sheet of the season. She followed that effort with 18 more saves in Saturday's 5-3 victory, securing both wins for Minnesota State.
Minnesota State continues its 2025-26 campaign this weekend as the Mavericks host Lindenwood in their first home series of the year at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center.
