MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2024 will be formally inducted on Friday, Oct. 4, in the Centennial Student Union Ballroom on campus.
Along with eight individuals, a "team" inductee, two builders and this year's service and philanthropic recipients will also be recognized.
The new Hall of Fame members in the student-athlete category include women's soccer All-American
Shannon Dusosky (MSU, 2000), former women's basketball player
Liz (Trauger) Grant (MSU, 2010), men's hockey All-American
Shane Joseph (MSU, 2004), former women's basketball player
Ali (Wilkinson) Kordah (MSU, 2014), softball All-American
Lindsay (Erickson) Miller (MSU, 2014), former women's basketball player
Tiffany Moe (MSU, 2010), former softball and volleyball player
Candice Siewert (MSU, 1979), men's hockey All-American
Grant Stevenson (MSU, 2003).
Slated for induction in the Builders category are
Carol Stallkamp and
Mike Sullivan. Stallkamp worked with the university administration for 34 years and helped bring MSU into compliance with Title IX. Sullivan did radio play-by-play for the men's hockey team for 24 years, while also calling early season Maverick football games.
The 2013 Minnesota State baseball team will be inducted in the team category, highlighting its accomplishment of advancing to the NCAA Championships game behind a 42-9 record.
The Jim Schaffer Service Award will be presented to
TJ Palesotti, who has done public address for the Minnesota State football and men's hockey teams for two decades.
This year's MSU Athletics Philanthropic Award recipients are

Shannon Dusosky (MSU, 1997-00, soccer): 2000 NSCAA Second-Team All-American; Two-Time All Central Region Selection (1999, 2000); 2000 North Central Conference Co-Most Valuable Player; Three-time NCC Player of the Week honoree; Two-time All-NSIC First Team selection; led Mavericks to a pair of NCC Championships during her career (1998, 2000).
Liz (Trauger) Grant (MSU, 2006-10, women's basketball): Played in 117 games, while making 60 starts in four seasons…Became the 19th member of the MSU 1,000 career point club…Named to the All-NSIC Third team during 2008-09 season and the All-NSIC First Team during the 2009-10 season…Averaged 14.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game as a senior…Recorded an 18-point, 18-rebound performance vs. Minnesota Duluth (1/10/08)…Posted a career-high 28 points against Minnesota Crookston (2/5/10)…Helped Minnesota State to an 86-36 (.704) record during her four seasons, including NSIC and NCAA Championships during 2008-09 season.
Shane Joseph (MSU, 1999-04, men's hockey): Registered 68 goals and 76 assists for 144 points in 139 games at Minnesota State…In 2002-03, helped team to 17-game unbeaten streak, second place in WCHA standings and the first ever invitation to the NCAA Division I men's hockey postseason tournament…Led team with 65 points in 2002-03 with team-best 29 goals and 36 assists in 41 games…All-WCHA First Team (2002-03)…AHCA West Second Team All-American (2002-03)…WCHA All-Tournament Team (2003)…All-WCHA Third Team (2003-04)… Posted 19 goals and 24 assists for 43 points as a senior.
Ali (Wilkinson) Kordah (MSU, 2009-13, women's basketball): Played in 121 games, including 91 starts during her career…Became the 20th member of the Minnesota State 1,000 point club and finished her career third all-time in scoring with 1,635 points…Helped MSU advance to the NCAA Tournament twice…Is third all-time in rebounds at Minnesota State with 915…Is MSU's all-time leader in free throws made with 480…2x All-NSIC First Team…2x NSIC All-Tournament Team…Named to WBCA Allstate Good Works Team in 2014…2x Daktronics All-Central Region Second Team…Earned a WBCA and DII Bulletin All-American Honorable Mentions.
Lindsay (Erickson) Miller (MSU, 2011-14, softball): Started in 232 career games at Minnesota State (2011-14)...Helped team to a 186-51 (.784) record, including three NSIC Championships (2012-14), two NSIC Tournament Championships (2012-13), four trips to the NCAA Tournament (2011-14) and an NCAA Championships appearance in 2011…Is MSU's all-time career leader in batting average (.431), RBI (186), doubles (64), home runs (38), slugging percentage (.704) and on-base percentage (.493)…2x NSIC Player of the Year…4x All-NSIC First Team…4x NFCA All-American…4x Daktronics All-American.
Tiffany Moe (MSU, 2006-10, women's basketball): Played in 122 games, including 120 starts during her career…Became the 18th Maverick to record 1,000 career points at MSU...Is third all-time in career assists with 518…Named to the NCAA All-Region Tournament Team in 2008…Averaged 11.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists in nine NCAA Tournament games…Tallied 18 points and eight rebounds in NCAA Championship…Helped Minnesota State to an 86-36 (.704) record during her career, including NSIC and NCAA Championships during 2008-09 season…Named All-NSIC Second Team in 2008-09 season and All-NSIC First Team in 2009-10 season.
Candice Siewart (MSU, 1977-79, volleyball & softball): Strong server, hitter and setter for the 1978 volleyball team which reached region competition after placing second in the state tournament...Played right field, hit .288 and played 16 games without an error for softball team that placed third in the state in 1978...Named MSU Female Athlete of the Year in 1978.
Grant Stevenson (MSU, 2001-03, men's hockey): Played two seasons at Minnesota State from 2001-03…Finished second on the team in scoring during the 2002-03 season as he notched 27 goals and 36 assists for 63 points…Ranked second on the team in goals and tied for first in assists during the 2002-03 season…Named to the All-WCHA First Team, before being named a Jofa Second Team All-American…Helped the Mavericks advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the NCAA Division I era in 2003...Became the second former Maverick to play in the NHL…Played 47 games for the San Jose Sharks during the 2005-06 season.
2013 Baseball Team: Went 42-9 on the season, as the Mavericks finished second at the NCAA Tournament…Posted an 18-4 NSIC record to finish second in the NSIC standings, before winning the NSIC Tournament with four straight wins in St. Cloud…Hosted the NCAA Central Region Tournament at Franklin Rogers…Won two extra inning games vs. Missouri Southern (1-0 in 14 innings) and Missouri Western (4-1 in 10 innings) during the regional tournament, before defeating St. Cloud State 4-3 and 17-1 to win its second NCAA Central Region Championship…At the College World Series, the Mavericks defeated Grand Valley State (2-0), Franklin Pierce (10-5) and St. Edward's (6-5), before falling to Tampa 8-2 in the NCAA Championship game…Harvey Martin was named the NSIC Pitcher of the Year, while head coach Matt Magers was named the National Coach of the Year…Five Mavericks named to the All-NSIC First Team, including Jason Hoppe, Harvey Martin, Nolan Johnson, Lucas Skjefte and Connor McCallum…Stetson Olson and Nolan Johnson were named to the NSIC All-Defensive Team…Harvey Martin and Jason Hoppe earned ABCA Rawlings All-American First Team honors, while Ben Keller received CoSIDA Academic All-American Third Team honors.
Carol Stallkamp (Builder's Category, University Administration): A 34-year administrator on campus, serving both President Richard Rush and Richard Davenport...As a staunch advocate for equal opportunity, played a crucial role in bringing Minnesota State into Title IX compliance while serving as the primary point of contact between the Office of Civil Rights and the University in negotiating and implementing settlement terms...Proud supporter of all Maverick athletic teams, holding season tickets in all sports and personally hosting numerous teams for postseason dinners and team celebrations.
Mike Sullivan (Builder's Category, 2000-24, radio play-by-play): Did radio play-by-play for Minnesota State men's hockey for 24 seasons (2000-24)...Called 914 games, including 504 consecutive games from 2000-13... Staple for Radio Mankato and co-host on the Morning Blend on AM 1420 KTOE...Served as station's sports director...Provided play-by-play for MSU football games before the start of the men's hockey season....Called 11 NCAA Region Tournament hockey games and three NCAA Frozen Four games, including the NCAA Championship game in 2022...Called MSU's first ever Broadmoor Trophy win on March 22, 2014...Called MSU's first MacNaughton Cup win in March of 2015.
