MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State women's hockey head coach Shari Dickerman has announced the signing of Jessie McPherson (Chatham, Ont./Vermont) to the Maverick roster as a graduate transfer.
McPherson spent four seasons at Vermont where she played in 89 games and collected 5,186 minutes in net. During her career she yielded a 1.97 goals against average and saved 91.7% of the shots she faced en route to playing to a 50-27-10 record. She has ten career shutouts and an assist to her name as well.
During her junior campaign, she started a career-best 35 games and set single-season highs in wins (21), shutouts (4) and saves (675).
"We are excited to have Jessie join our team. She will add depth and experience at a position that is critical to the success of any program in the WCHA," said Dickerman. "Her personality and desire to play hockey beyond college will mesh seamlessly with our group."
Minnesota State played to a 13-25-0 record last season.
