MANKATO, Minn. --- #5 Minnesota State continues its season with three games over the next week, including home games against St. Cloud State on Friday at 7:30 p.m., and #3 MSU Moorhead on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. The Mavericks will then travel to Minnesota Duluth on Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m., contest.
Minnesota State History: The 2023-24 season marks the 102nd campaign as a varsity sport for Minnesota State men's basketball. The Mavericks are 1,431-946 (.602) in 2,377 games since the program's inception in the 1920-21 season. In the NSIC, MSU owns a 221-105 (.677) record to go with four regular-season championships and two tournament championships.
Against the Huskies: Friday's game between Minnesota State and St. Cloud State marks their 191st meeting, with the all-time series tied at 95-95. The Mavericks have won their last seven games against SCSU, including a 78-61 road win earlier this season.
