Joplin, Mo. --- Minnesota State (2-1, 0-0 NSIC) took down #21 Missouri Southern with a 9-7 final Sunday morning at Warren Turner Field. The high-scoring affair saw a combined 16 runs on 26 hits.
The visiting Mavericks found success early against Missouri Southern from the lack of fielding consistency from the Lions who gave up four errors in today's game.
