New Orleans, La. --- The initial edition of the
U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II Men's Indoor Track & Field Regional Rankings show Minnesota State standing fourth in the Central Region.
MSU is the highest-ranking NSIC program in the rankings with its point total of 191.91, trailing three MIAA institutions: #1 Pittsburg State (412.03), #2 Nebraska-Kearney (229.67), and #3 Missouri Southern (204.00). The only other NSIC institution in the Top Ten in the regional rankings is #9 MSU Moorhead (129.58).
The Mavericks will return to the friendly confines of Myers Field House in their next action when they host the two-day Mark Schuck Open & Multi, on Friday and Saturday, January 27
th and 28
th on the campus of Minnesota State.
