Mavericks Fall in Season Finale to Wisconsin

Madison, Wis.--- Minnesota State fell to #8 Wisconsin 6-0 Saturday afternoon in Madison.
After leading 1-0 after the period, Wisconsin scored three goals in the second and two more in the third to seal the win.
Senior goaltender Alexa Berg turned away 34 of the 40 shots she faced in the defeat.  Wisconsin netminder Cami Kronish turned away all 28 shots she faced to earn the shutout.
The Mavericks (13-13-0, 7-13-0 WCHA) travel to Ohio State to take on the Buckeyes next weekend. Puck drop is at 5:00 p.m.
