NCAA Swim Championships Day 4

Minnesota State Finishes 18th at NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. --- The Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team finished in 18th place at the NCAA Championships Saturday evening.

As a team, the Mavericks recorded 58 points and posted the highest finish amongst NSIC teams.

In the prelims of the 1-meter diving event Sydney Hanson finished 13th with 385.25 points, while Aspen Warnygora took 22nd place with 328.30 points.

In the prelims of the 100 freestyle Kate Flynn finished in 19th place with a time of 50.98. Anja Enervold posted a time of 2:03.05 during the prelims of the 200 backstroke which ranked 27th. Emily Goodman competed in the prelims of the 200 breaststroke also, where she finished 25th with a time of 2:20.91.

The Maverick also finished 17th in the 400 freestyle relay event as the team of Enervold,   Olivia Meinberg, Goodman and Flynn posted a time of 3:28.88.
