th-rated Minnesota State to a 2-1 win at Bowling Green in Central Collegiate Hockey Association action in Bowling Green, Ohio, Friday
Now 9-7-1 for the season with tonight's result, Minnesota State stands 6-4-1 in CCHA games. Bowling Green, which entered tonight's tilt in first place in the league standings, drops to 8-9-0 overall, 7-6-0 CCHA.

Austin Swankler responded in kind at 3:38 in making it a 1-1 game. Sandelin converted on a rebound for his chance at 18:42 for his seventh goal of the season and at the end of 40 minutes of action, the Mavericks held a 2-1 lead.
Neither team was able to score in the third period as the Mavericks held on the rest of the way to claim the 2-1 win.
For Sandelin, his goal gives him seven game winning tallies for his four-year career.
The Mavericks outshot the Falcons by a 45-26 margin in the contest and were one-for-three in power play chances. Minnesota State freshman netminder
Alex Tracy, who finished with 25 stops, ups his record on the season to 5-1-0.
