Mankato, Minn.--- Minnesota State came into the day looking to salvage its trip to Bemidji with points to bring home. MSU got out-played in the first period as BSU took over the shot column with an 11-3 shot advantage. Alexa Berg stood on her head making fantastic saves as she constantly turned away Beaver shots.

Coming out of the first intermission, the Mavericks got back on track generating several opportunities early in the beginning of the second period. Minnesota State owned the momentum in the second period, overwhelming the Beavers at the 11:31 mark of the second period with three goals in under a minute. Within a 58 second window, Syndey Langseth, Talyor Otremba and Charlotte Akervik all tally goals to shoot the Mavericks lead to three.

In the third period, Alex Berg took over the game once again making all 27 saves on 27 shots to shutout the Beavers to improve to 3-7-0 on the season.
