MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's basketball team will return to the road this weekend for a pair of games against Sioux Falls after splitting a two-game series with the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs last week. Friday, Jan 29th, the Mavericks and Cougars will tip-off at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday the teams will begin action at 4:00 p.m.
Mavericks at a Glance: Last weekend the Mavericks split a pair of games against the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs. Friday night Minnesota State fell to the Mustangs 75-66 and Saturday evening, the Mavericks earned a bounce back 68-61 win.

Sioux Falls top offensive threat is junior guard Anna Brecht who is averaging 18.7 points per game while also ranking second on the team in rebounds with 6.2 boards per game. Anna Goodhope (11.8 ppg) and Hannah Jones (11.3 ppg) both average double digit scoring for the Cougars. Dallie Hoskinson is the leading rebounder for Sioux Falls averaging 9.5 boards per game.
As a team, Sioux Falls averages 74.2 points per game compared to their opponents 66.8 points per game. The Cougars average 42.5 rebounds per game and average 3.8 blocks per contest.
