MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's basketball team (18-10) will continue its run in the NSIC Basketball tournament with a semi-final matchup against the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.  The game will take place in Sioux Falls, S.D., at the Sanford Pentagon with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
 
Mavericks at a Glance: Minnesota State (18-10, 13-9 NSIC), resumes postseason play with an 18-10 record after defeating the University of Mary Marauders 81-59 in the second round of the NSIC Basketball Tournament.  

Stat Pack: As a team, Minnesota State is averaging 77.0 points per game in comparison to its opponents' 68.5. Additionally, the Mavericks average 42.3 rebounds per game and dish out 14.2 assists per game while stealing the ball 12.8 times per game.

Impact Mavericks: Sophomore center Kristi Fett is the leading scorer and rebounder for the Mavericks, averaging 10.3 points per game while pulling down 6.3 rebounds per contest. Senior guard Kirstin Klitzke is the second leading scorer for the Mavericks, averaging 9.6 points per game as well as averaging 3.0 rebounds per game.  Freshman guard Joey Batt is the team's third leading scorer averaging 9.0 points per game.  

Youth Movement: Several underclassmen are making an early impact for the Mavericks this season. Center Kristi Fett is averaging 10.6 points per game while also averaging 6.3 rebounds a game.  Freshman guard Joey Batt is averaging 9.0 points per game to go along with 1.6 steals per contest.  Sophomore guard Maddy Olson is averaging 6.5 points per game this season.  

Bench Squad: The bench players for the Mavericks have outscored their opponents 998-506 to date this season.

Scouting Minnesota Duluth:  Minnesota Duluth is located in Duluth, Minn., and are currently 25-55 (20-2 NSIC) on the season. The Bulldogs are members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).  Minnesota Duluth is led by head coach Mandy Pearson who is in her fifth season as the leader of the program.  

As a team this season, the Bulldogs net 69.6 points per game in comparison to their opponents' 60.1. Duluth also snatches 34.6 rebounds and dishes out 16.4 assists per contest. 

The Bulldogs are led by sophomore forward Brooke Olson who averages 16.6 points per game to go along with a team leading 6.4 rebounds per game. Junior forward Sarah Grow is the second leading scorer for Duluth, averaging 10.1 points per game as well as 5.2 rebounds per game.

Monday's game will mark the 63rd all-time meeting between these two programs, the most recent of which was an 69-58 loss for the Mavericks earlier this season in Duluth, Minn.  

In that game, Kristi Fett led the Mavericks in scoring with 12 points while adding ten rebounds as Kirstin Klitzke recorded 11 points.  

Looking Ahead: The winner of Monday's game will advance to the championship game of the NSIC Basketball tournament against which is scheduled to take place Tuesday with tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
