BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Minnesota State junior forward Taylor Drost has been named to the All-NSIC Second Team for her efforts this past season.

A native of Menomonee Falls, Wis., Drost led the Maverick offense this past season with 13.4 points per game, while shooting 40.7% from the field and 86.6% from the free throw line. Earlier this season, Drost garnered NSIC South Division Player of the Week honors as she averaged 20.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game against Bethany Lutheran College and Concordia-St. Paul.

Drost started in all 25 games that she played in this past season and she netted at least 20 points or more in six outings. At Minnesota Crookston, she notched a career-high 32 points as she connected on 12-of-20 attempts from the field. She also notched a double-double at Wayne State where she tallied 22 points, including the game winning shot as time expired, and 10 rebounds.

Minnesota State finished its 2018-19 season with a 14-13 record.
