MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's basketball team (11-11, 8-10 NSIC) will make its final regular season appearances as it faces off with Augustana Friday, at 5:30 p.m., before taking on Wayne State Saturday, at 3:30 p.m. Saturday's game will also feature the senior day celebration for the two seniors on the team,
Monica Muth and
Ashley Reed.
Mavericks at a Glance: Minnesota State (11-11, 8-10 NSIC), enters the week after defeating Minnesota Crookston 84-71 Friday night in Crookston, Minn., behind a career high 32-points from
Taylor Drost. Saturday, the Mavericks defeated the Bemidji State Beavers 75-64 to claim their fourth straight victory.

Taylor Drost is the leading scorer for the Mavericks, averaging 13.4 points per game, including a career best 32-point outing against the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles. Senior guard

Rylee Menster is averaging 4.9 points per game while shooting 42.9% from the floor.
Stat Pack: As a team Minnesota State is averaging 74.1 points per game in comparison to its opponents' 69.9. Additionally, the Mavericks average 42.6 rebounds per game and dish out 13.4 assists per game and steal the ball 8.8 times per game.
Scouting Augustana: Augustana is located in Sioux Falls, S.D., and is currently 19-8 (11-7 NSIC) on the season. The Vikings are members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). Augustana is led by head coach Dave Krauth who is in his 30th season with the program.
As a team this season, the Vikings net 73.8 points per game in comparison to its opponents' 62.2. Augustana also snatches 41.5 rebounds and dishes out 15.2 assists per contest.

Saturday's game will mark the 75th all-time meeting between these two programs, the most recent of which was a a 68-66 loss for the Mavericks earlier this season in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Scouting Wayne State: Wayne State is located in Wayne, Neb., and is currently 13-11 (8-10 NSIC) on the season. The Wildcats are members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). Wayne State is led by head coach Brent Pollari who is in his first season as the leader of the program.
As a team this season, the Wildcats net 69.4 points per game in comparison to its opponents' 68.1. Wayne State also snatches 38.9 rebounds and dishes out 15.3 assists per contest.
The Wildcats are led by sophomore forward Erin Norling who averages 15.1 points and also 5.5 rebounds per game. Sophomore center Brittany Bongartz is the second leading scorer for Wayne State, averaging 12.5 points and 5.7 rebounds per fame.
