BROOKFIELD, Ill. --- Junior offensive lineman Evan Heim and sophomore offensive lineman Hunter Toppel have garnered Don Hansen All-American honors for their efforts this past season.

Heim received Don Hansen All-American First Team Offense honors, while Toppel claimed Don Hansen All-American Second Team Offense accolades. Senior Zach Dodge received an Honorable Mention as well.

An offensive lineman from De Pere, Wis., Heim played and started in all 14 games for the Mavericks this past season. As a member of the offensive line, Heim helped the Mavericks rush for 3,345 yards and 37 touchdowns this past season, both of which are the fifth most in a season in team history. As a unit, the Maverick offensive line allowed just 12 sacks in 14 games. Earlier this season, Heim received D2CCA All-American Second Team and D2Football.com All-American First Team honors.

An offensive lineman from DeForest, Wis., Toppel played and started in all 14 games for the Mavericks on the offensive line this past season. Toppel, who was named to the All-NSIC First Team, helped the Mavericks rush for 3,345 yards and 37 touchdowns this past season, both of which are the fifth most in a season in team history. The offensive line allowed just 12 sacks in 14 games during the 2018 season as well. This is Toppel's first All-American honor.

A defensive lineman from Salem, Wis., Dodge tallied 25 tackles, including 5.5 for a loss in 12 games. He also posted 5.5 tackles for a loss and three sacks. Against Tarleton State in the third round of the NCAA Tournament, Dodge posted a season-high five tackles. He finished his career seventh all-time in tackles for loss yards with 146.
